Custom Install Home Theatre

A home theatre is no more viewed as a luxury or an extravagant purchase, moreover, you don't need to be movie buff or cinephile to invest into a theatre. Whether it's for family entertainment, or for gaming sessions or merely a place where your family spends time together, a home theatre is now a representative of our modern lifestyle.

While designing their residence, our client had earmarked space for a home theatre but wasn't clear on how to approach the execution. A home theatre can provide you with an exciting environment for watching media but its equally important to design a room that doesn't age over the years while also using materials that survive the test of time accomodating technology that's future proof.

We chose Emerald for the fabric panelling, a colour that energizes the room, rejuvenates the soul and strengthens our connection with the environment. We matched it with contrasting dark brown recliners and walnut engineered wood in a herringbone pattern to bring in a natural element, thereby reinforcing our connection with the outdoors.

The client finalized DALI Phantom series for the in-wall speakers due to their modest depth and musical performance. We suggested a 7.2.4 Dolby Atmos configuration and the client was happy with the results. With uniform coverage, uncompromised low end and a relatively large (150" screen) this theatre got juice in all the right spots.
